Thato is Head of Private Equity and Associate Partner at Senatla Capital and is a member of its investment team and Investment Committees.

Thato has extensive experience in due diligence, investments, strategy, and corporate finance. Prior to her position as Principal and Associate with the firm, she was a part of the PricewaterhouseCoopers Deals Advisory Transaction Services team. In this position, she had responsibility for managing financial due diligence, working capital and project finance reviews for financial, corporate and private equity clients across various sectors.

At Senatla Capital, Thato has been involved in all aspects of deal execution and monitoring, this has included being in the roles of a non-executive board member and chair in various investee companies.

She holds a Bachelor of Accounting Science degree from the University of Witwatersrand and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from the Gordon Institute of Business Science (GIBS). She is also a Certified Director with the Institute of Directors South Africa (IODSA) and a qualified Chartered Accountant.
