Gideon is an Independent Member of the SCEF II, SCEF III and SCEF IV Investment Committees.<\/span><\/p>\n

Gideon is an investment executive with Yellowwoods. Gideon was the Strategic Investments Manager with the Old Mutual Emerging Markets Group Strategy, a division of Old Mutual Life Assurance Company.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Previously, Gideon ran his own Private Clients business, where he advises medium-sized corporates and consortia on corporate opportunities as well as fundraising.\u00a0He has consulted on the following sectors: Media, Telecommunications, Financial Services as well as the Steel and Fast Moving Consumer Goods (\u201cFMCG\u201d) industries.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/p>\n

Gideon was previously Director and Private Equity Principal at Shanduka Fund Managers, managing the Shanduka Value Partners Fund 1, a US$50 million private equity fund.\u00a0He spent six years with the Shanduka Group.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Prior to that, Gideon worked at Hollard\/Capricorn Capital, Real Africa Durolink Investment Bank, Deloitte & Touche Consulting Group and Metropolitan Life, gaining in aggregate over 17 years\u2019 experience in the financial services industry.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Gideon has served on several corporate boards and is currently a director of Lombard Insurance Company Ltd, Lombard Life Insurance Company Ltd, Seacom South Africa Ltd and Loadstone Brands Ltd, amongst others.<\/span><\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n
